Interview: MIF Founder Harsh Mariwala on Driving Innovation and Sustainability in India

In an interview with The Indian Express, Mr Mariwala discusses his efforts to build mentorship and peer support networks for Indians startups to foster impact-driven innovation, particularly in the circular economy space.

Harsh Mariwala, Chairman of Marico, has been making a significant impact on the Indian innovation ecosystem through the Marico Innovation Foundation. He is also involved with the ASCENT Foundation, a unique peer learning platform for entrepreneurs, and the Mariwala Health Initiative focusing on mental health support.

In an in-depth interview with The Indian Express, Mr Mariwala discusses the startups and innovators they are working with at MIF, including those in the circular economy space. He shares his thoughts on the need for mentorship for entrepreneurs, and on how he spends his time with the foundation. He also highlights the successes of MIF’s no-equity accelerator, Scale-Up, with examples such as Atomberg Technologies and Ishitva Robotic Systems, as well as the impact of the ASCENT Foundation in providing a platform for entrepreneurs to exchange insights and support each other.
